Jacksonville's Ronald McDonald House Unveils $12.5 Million Renovation

Next month, the Ronald McDonald House will debut the renovation of its 27 original guest rooms, a commercial grade kitchen for volunteers to make meals for residents, fitness center and learning center, which will boast computers and tutors so children can continue pursuing their education.

Double Eagle Development will begin work on a 418-unit, single-family community in St. Johns County next week, following its ceremonial groundbreaking Friday, Dec. 5. Treaty Oaks, a 165-acre development, will be a mile east of Interstate 95 on Route 207, about 10 minutes to downtown St. Augustine. The community, which is being built by WG Pitts Company, will surround the St. Johns County Treaty Oaks Park. The project is being funded by STI Funding.
